I have re-designed this website and I hope you like it. There are over 130 photos and documents in my Grandfather's album, most having hand written titles either on the backs or written in white ink on the black album paper. There's no substitute for the real thing, but hopefully you'll find these photos and documents as facinating as I do.
New - Details of crash at RAF Calveley involving my grandfather supplied by the Air Historical Branch. Many thanks to Euan Withersby for doing the research. Click HERE.
The logbook section shows scanned pages from two Pilots Flying Log Books detailing aircraft flown, Flight Groups, Squadrons and routes taken etc. The idea of the website is to bring the experience of WW2 life to the masses via the internet. It is also a great learning experience for myself. Hopefully you will find it a useful site for aircraft information and also from a historical point of view. Your comments will be greatly appreciated.
Best wishes, Martin.
